The Los Angeles Lakers blew out the Houston Rockets in another epic win as the team continues its streak of excellent results. LeBron James played a brilliant game alongside Anthony Davis, the leading man on the night. And the Lakers’ chemistry seems phenomenal at the minute, as became evident in a locker room interview afterward.

With LeBron James sitting in the locker room trying to talk to the media about the game, his teammates hilariously started making goat noises in the background. As James tried to answer questions, bleats could be heard, leading the King himself to crack up. The implication is that LeBron is the greatest NBA player of all time.

Bruh this Lakers team Chemistry is the best, this the second game in a row they making GOAT noises in the background of LeBron's post-game interview 😂😂😂

As the tweet with the video mentioned, this is not the first time James’ teammates have paid tribute to him in this way. With LeBron James passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar this season and the Lakers potentially clinching an automatic playoff spot, the GOAT conversation is heating up again. If LeBron can win another championship and Finals MVP this season, which no longer seems impossible, those shouts will get even more difficult to deny.

On the night, LeBron James didn’t shoot too well, but he did everything else, getting a triple-double in the blowout win over the Rockets. The Lakers now have their destiny in their own hands and could finish the season as the 5th seed, giving them a chance to potentially make a deep playoff run.

LeBron James’ GOAT Case Has Been Gathering A Lot Of Support Recently

There isn’t much surprising about LeBron James’ teammates hyping him up. That’s what teammates do and are even expected to do, to a certain extent. But they’re not the only ones riding for LeBron in the debate. Many NBA players, including some Hall Of Famers, have said that James is the GOAT over Michael Jordan.

It’s not just basketball stars that feel this way, actor Michael B. Jordan shared the same thought, going as far as to say James is the GOAT athlete. Even LeBron knows that there is work still to be done, though. He will need to win at least another championship, and potentially 2 more, to get the consensus that he deserves it. The way the Lakers have been playing since restructuring their roster, no one would bet against it either.
