Dennis Schroder On LeBron James’ Return From Injury: “I Can’t Say Too Much. But German Doctors Are Great.”

Superstar LeBron James has been out for the Los Angeles Lakers in recent weeks due to his dealing with a foot injury. There’s no doubt that this was extremely unfortunate for James, especially because the superstar was playing at an extremely high level this year.

Recently, guard Dennis Schroder had an interesting take on James and his injury recovery, stating that he “can’t say too much”, but also noting that “German doctors are great”.

“I know. I can’t say too much … But German doctors are great. That’s all I’m saying”, said Schroder.

It seems as though Dennis Schroder may be suggesting that LeBron James got some form of treatment in Germany. It also seems as though the point guard is optimistic about James’ recovery.

Prior to his injury, LeBron James was averaging 29.5 PPG, 8.4 RPG, and 6.5 APG for the Los Angeles Lakers. He is the key to this team potentially going deep in the playoffs, and hopefully, we see James come back sooner rather than later.

LeBron James Is Not Close To Returning Right Now

There have been frequent reports about LeBron James’ progress from injury, but unfortunately, the latest one is negative. It was recently revealed that LeBron James is not close to returning right now, and it was also noted that this isn’t necessarily an injury one can play through.

“I know that everybody said the three weeks but I think it was very clear three weeks is when he’s going to get an official re-evaluation,” Brian Windhorst said. “It didn’t mean he’s coming back in three weeks. I know that LeBron has played through injuries in the past, I’m not 100 percent sure this is an injury you can play through.”

It remains to be seen when LeBron James will actually return. It definitely seems as though he could end up missing the rest of the regular season or coming back right before the playoffs.

The Lakers will have to continue to stay afloat without LeBron James, and they’ve been a relatively good team with Anthony Davis and D’Angelo Russell. They do have an easy portion of their schedule coming up, and perhaps we’ll even see them avoid the play-in tournament and make the playoffs outright. The goal is to survive until a healthy LeBron James comes back in the playoffs, and we’ll see what happens with the Lakers these last few weeks of the regular season.
