The GOAT debate usually comes down between Michael Jordan and LeBron James. Over the years, LeBron has closed down the gap between him and Jordan, but for most fans, the latter is still the GOAT.

There are times when fans love to see a lighthearted touch on the GOAT debate. Well, if that’s what you love, then there is a hilarious YouTube video featuring two people discussing the GOAT between Michael Jordan and LeBron James that will make your day.

“I said LeBron’s the greatest player of all time… after Jordan.”

“It’s just funny because I don’t remember Jordan winning championships with two different teams.”

“Babe, I gotta go. Name my baby girl, LeBron.”

These are just a few of the many amazing lines from the GOAT debate between two basketball fans at the barber shop. Watch the entire clip, and it’ll make you laugh until tears start flowing out of your eyes.

But at the same time, the video is also factually correct. That’s what makes it so hilarious and enjoyable to watch.

Who Is The GOAT Between Michael Jordan And LeBron James?

The YouTube video attached above showed a very lighthearted jab at the GOAT debate. But in reality, the debate is as serious as it gets in the NBA community.

Keeping that in mind, supporters from both sides tend to believe nothing but facts when determining who the real GOAT of basketball is between Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

There are several parameters that can be used to compare the stats of MJ and LBJ in the NBA. For starters, their performances in the regular season and playoffs can be a great parameter. While both the players are sensational, Jordan wins this one.

Next, when we talk about the number of accolades won by the two players, Michael Jordan has a clear lead ahead of LeBron James. Sure, LeBron deserves the nod for being a better all-round player and having better longevity.

On top of that, LeBron is in the top 10 for every playoff stat that exists. But having four rings to Jordan’s six and a 4-6 record in the NBA Finals to Jordan’s perfect 6-0 record will always be held against the King.

But at the end of the day, LeBron may still end up winning more rings before he retires from the league. This could help him in surpassing MJ as the GOAT once and for all.
