If given a choice, Kawhi Leonard would trade French toast, start with pancakes, and get his second favorite breakfast option, Waffles, from the bench.
Known to make some wisecracks with a straight face, the LA Clippers star was asked to play ‘Start, Bench, and Cut’ with breakfast food, and he dished out a hilarious reply.
Leonard even explained why he would start or bench the food. The forward loves his pancakes, and by his own thoughts, it was because “anybody could eat those.”

“Put the Waffles on the bench. Waffles are one of my favorites, so I will bring it off the bench. And trade the french toast. Not too many people can make good french toast.
Leonard’s breakfast of choice is perhaps the secret to his athleticism on the court. However, not everyone could go around shooting at will by chomping down pancakes and waffles, except for the Clippers star.
Russell Westbrook’s Role With Kawhi Leonard And Paul George Explained
The LA Clippers and Russell Westbrook have been the buzz over the last few days with the guard signing with the franchise. The point guard and his fit with Leonard and Paul George have been a topic of discussion since the former’s signing.
According to Law Murray of The Athletic, the Clippers signed Westbrook to take some “ballhandling responsibility” from Leonard and George while adding that the Clippers will be happy if the move ends up with their stars having “more juice.”
But Westbrook can get to the free throw line at a high rate, is still a good playmaker, and can push the pace. And if it means that George and Leonard have more juice to be efficient later in games, then the Clippers will take that.
While George has backed Westbrook to be a good fit with the Clippers, only time will tell how his chemistry with Leonard would pan out.
But for now, the Clippers are the new superteam, and it remains to be seen if they can go the distance, given their good run so far this season.
