Zion Williamson is one of the best power forwards in the game when he is healthy. There is no doubt that he is a dominant force near the rim, and Zion Williamson has been having a stellar season with the New Orleans Pelicans, averaging 26.0 PPG, 7.0 RPG, and 4.6 APG.

Recently, it was revealed that Zion Williamson re-aggravated his hamstring injury and will be out for the foreseeable future, being re-evaluated after the All-Star break. After the update, a lot of fans reacted to the news, with many of them being disappointed in the star’s poor health.

Fire the whole medical staff please

Just let him chill till he 100%

Health and availability may be the most important attribute a player can provide, unfortunately it’s not been a strength for Zion.

Unfortunately not unexpected especially for a explosive athlete.

This poor guy has been injury prone. We just want to see him play consistently he’s so good.

Zion’s body type is not built for the NBA game

Injuries continue to plague Zion

Ja Morant was always the better pick…

Wow pelicans aren’t making the playoffs

Smh. Same story every year.

And this is why having a well rounded team of role players is good.

Man… at least Blake Griffin had a few years dunking over the league. Zion can’t go more than 10 or 20 games before his body says time out.

He won’t be in the league long. It’s sad

There is no doubt that this is a concerning injury update for Zion Williamson, and hopefully, he ends up coming back sooner rather than later. There’s no doubt that this is a disappointing update for Pelicans fans, as their team is currently fighting for a playoff berth.

The New Orleans Pelicans Will Need To Rely On Brandon Ingram And CJ McCollum

Even though Zion Williamson may be out for an extended period of time, CJ McCollum and Brandon Ingram could still help the team stay afloat and make it to the playoffs. They won three games in a row prior to their recent loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers and have a pretty easy schedule for the rest of the season. There is still a chance that they can make the playoffs.

It remains to be seen how well the New Orleans Pelicans do for the rest of the season. Prior to the start of the year, Brandon Ingram stated that he wanted to be the best player in the world. Now is his chance to show that he can play with the best of the best.
