Being a superstar in the league is a dream come true for most NBA players. But even among those superstars, there are a few players who are simply on a level above the rest. Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is certainly someone who falls in that category of the top-notch crop in the NBA.

Many believed that Giannis Antetokounmpo reached the height of his career when he carried the Milwaukee Bucks to the 2021 NBA Championship. At the time, the Greek Freak was undoubtedly the best player in the league.

However, since that season, many have forgotten how great of a player Giannis truly is. In the 2022-23 NBA season, Antetokounmpo seems to be playing with a chip on his shoulder as he is dropping 50-point games left and right.

Shannon Sharpe Makes A Huge Declaration About Giannis Antetokounmpo

NBA analyst Shannon Sharpe has always been a supporter of Giannis Antetokounmpo. Following the Bucks superstar’s 54-point performance against the Los Angeles Clippers, there was no way that Sharpe would stay silent about it.

He not only praised Giannis for scoring 54 points in the game but also made the declaration that he is still being the best player in the NBA right now.

Giannis is still the BEST player in NBA until further notice. 54-19 in a 21 pt come from behind win. Should keep him in top spot. 😤😤😤😤

Giannis is still the BEST player in NBA until further notice. 54-19 in a 21 pt come from behind win. Should keep him in top spot,” Sharpe said on Twitter following the Bucks’ win.

Sharpe is usually known for his amazing praise for the Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James. But the veteran NBA analyst proved that he is not biased and appreciates talented players all around the globe.

In one of his recent tweets, Sharpe highlighted the same fact about Giannis Antetokounmpo. Sharpe was heavily impressed with Giannis’ 54-point, 19-rebound performance and helped the Bucks complete a 21-point comeback against the in-form Los Angeles Clippers.
