Donovan Mitchell wasn’t done with Dillon Brooks after their hardwood brawl when the Cleveland Cavaliers hosted the struggling Memphis Grizzlies. He called out the latter during the postgame press conference.
It all happened when Brooks took a shot at Mitchell after his foul. He took a swing at the Cavaliers star’s groin, and in reply, had the ball tossed at him before the two squared up to take each other on.
And while the end result was the two tossed from the game, Mitchell was relentless when he took a dig at Brooks after Cleveland won 128-113. Speaking to the media after the win.

“Him and I have had our personal battles for years. Quite frankly, I’ve been busting his a** for years. Playoffs. Regular season. The one time he does an alright job on me, he decides to fo something like that. There’s no place for that in the game.”
While Mitchell’s evening ended with 6 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. Brooks had 9 points, 2 boards, and an assist to his name. The Grizzlies’ loss makes it their seventh in eight games.
Donovan Mitchell Points Out Some Of Dillon Brooks’ Past Controversies
Donovan Mitchell’s comments towards Brooks didn’t just end with him talking about getting the better of the controversial Memphis star, he also brought up previous instances when Brooks’ stirred up some trouble.
Brooks has had his share of tussles with Damian Lillard and Stephen Curry, and Mitchell referred to the incidents.
