The 2023 NBA trade deadline is officially behind us, with team rosters looking complete for the final leg of the season. Teams will make additions from the buyout market but most teams now know what their primary core of talent is.
The Phoenix Suns probably made the biggest addition of the winter when they traded for Kevin Durant to team up with Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and Deandre Ayton.
This is not the first time Durant is playing on a team with other players who were All-Star and All-NBA in the last 2 seasons, as Durant has made a career of playing with top stars at every single stop of his career. A fan pointed that out on Twitter and proceeded to roast KD for his decisions.
No player in the history of our league has played with as many superstars as Kevin Durant with all due respect

KD has played with so much talent now. I mean it's actually insane when you think about it.

Dude better get another and I think the beauty of it is he still has a chance to get a franchise their 1st ring in PHX

Durant has played with Russell Westbrook, James Harden (twice), Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, Kyrie Irving, and now, Devin Booker and Chris Paul. This list doesn’t even include other stars and former All-Stars that joined KD’s teams after their primes like Andre Drummond, Blake Griffin, and LaMarcus Aldridge.
Has Kevin Durant Set A Bad Precedent For The Future?
When LeBron James left the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Miami Heat in 2010, everyone knew the league had fundamentally changed in terms of how stars are going to try and keep teaming up to win titles. KD succeeded when he did that by joining the greatest regular season team of all time in Golden State and has 2 rings to prove it.
It didn’t work in Brooklyn and he’ll be hoping he can make it work in Brooklyn. If the only rings KD has to show at the end of his career came with the Warriors when they won a title before he joined and another one after he left, his legacy and winning ability will forever be questioned.
