LeBron James has had the spotlight on him ever since he was in high school. Every little thing that he does gets overanalyzed to the extreme, so when he had a meltdown of sorts against the Boston Celtics, you knew there were going to be people who were going to criticize him.
LeBron was furious after the officials missed a clear foul committed on him by Jayson Tatum, as he was attempting the game-winner, and he reacted in a manner that is quite unlike him. That led to Chandler Parsons blasting him for overreacting to the situation but fans roasted Parsons for his comments. Now, former Suns player and their current color analyst Eddie Johnson got on Parsons for criticizing James.
Chandler Parsons spending more time on Twitter than he did on the court 😂. Trust me the @memgrizz front office was doing that every time they looked at that contract 😂 https://t.co/3q95qqDoYV

“Chandler Parsons spending more time on Twitter than he did on the court . Trust me the @memgrizz front office was doing that every time they looked at that contract “
The Grizzlies had signed Parsons to a 4-year, $94 million deal prior to the 2016-17 season, despite him undergoing knee surgeries in 2015 and 2016. As you can imagine, he barely played for the Grizzlies and the front office would have had significant regrets over giving him that deal.
Patrick Beverley Spoke On LeBron James’ Angry Reaction In The Locker Room After The Game
It is really hard to blame LeBron for reacting in that manner considering just how blatant the foul was. He and the Los Angeles Lakers have felt like they have been on the receiving end of quite a few bad calls in recent weeks, so his reaction isn’t too surprising.
Patrick Beverley stated on his podcast recently that he had never seen LeBron react that way in all the time that he has been in the league. He also revealed that LeBron told him in the locker room after the game that he almost lost his s***. What we saw out there on the court were the raw emotions of a man who was distraught at the prospect of the referees costing his team another game.
