NBA stars are among the most famous people in the world, they are recognized almost everywhere they go. And while the lesser-known stars might not face too much of a problem, established ones like Russell Westbrook don’t get much peace of mind walking down the street. While many stars make it a point to engage with fans and give them attention, it’s not always possible for them.

Russell Westbrook has a weird relationship with Lakers fans, as many didn’t want him on the team before he even officially joined. His declining performances have made the situation worse, with many calling for the star to be traded for months on end. So it’s understandable if there are times that Russ doesn’t feel like engaging with his fans, as happened recently.

A few fans seemingly tried to get an autograph from Russell Westbrook as he was entering a building, and Russ walked straight on by. Now, normally this might have been such a big deal, but because it’s Westbrook, there were a lot of reactions from the people that saw it.

NBA Fans Trolled Russell Westbrook After He Refused To Sign Something For Another Fan

As much as they might care, NBA star cannot constantly please every fan they come across. However, videos like this also make them look ungrateful and come across as players being a little arrogant. So it’s no surprise that Westbrook was trolled after this clip went viral, he’s already not very well-liked at the moment.

“Why would he turn down his last 4 fans like that?”

“Damn, Russ not good enough to be acting this way no more.”

“Just take 2 seconds and make someone’s day man.”

“Wow I can see if it’s a million people …especially when your career at a point like this.”

“Shouldn’t he be taking what love he can get right now.”

“What must it be like to get rejected by the worst star in the league?”

“Actually looks kind of rude to me.”

“Bench players acting like starters smh.”

“There’s a time and place for everyone man.”

“Russ can’t always be paying attention to others.”

“This is normal man, move on.”

Some of the reactions seem to not be too bothered by how Westbrook acted, and that makes sense too. He is at a point where anything he does will be scrutinized and jumped on by his haters, but this shouldn’t be too big a deal. There are bigger things for Westbrook to worry about, like the Lakers‘ season.
