Andre Drummond is a former All-Star that is well-known for his rebounding ability. He is currently a member of the Chicago Bulls and has averaged 6.1 PPG and 6.6 RPG this season while shooting 61.0% from the field.

Even though he is a solid role player, it seems as though the Chicago Bulls could explore trading Andre Drummond in the future. A recent report from NBA insider Marc Stein has revealed that it would be no surprise to see the Bulls move him ahead of this year’s trade deadline, noting that he has gotten limited playing time during the Bulls’ recent games.

Do not be surprised, league sources say, if the Bulls move former All-Star center Andre Drummond before the Feb. 9 trade. Drummond has been allotted fewer than 15 minutes in each of Chicago’s past 12 games.

It remains to be seen which teams end up putting their hat in the ring for Andre Drummond. He is definitely a player that can help in limited minutes with his energy on the boards. The Los Angeles Clippers were notably a team that was reportedly in the market for a big man, and perhaps Andre Drummond could end up being an option for them in the future.

The Chicago Bulls Could Make Some Other Trades

The Chicago Bulls are currently the 11th seed and 22-26 in the Eastern Conference. It is clear that their current veteran core is not going to lead them to a championship, and perhaps the best move for the team would be to rebuild. NBA insider Zach Lowe has recently claimed that the Chicago Bulls would likely be willing to accept a Zach LaVine trade package from the Los Angeles Lakers, which would feature them getting Russell Westbrook and two first-round picks.

“One unprotected and the second one has the most limited possible protections that’s allowable under NBA rules,” he said of the theoretical trade.

There’s no doubt that Zach LaVine is a player that could end up helping the Los Angeles Lakers become a more competitive team immediately. He is a three-level shot creator who can produce at high volume. LaVine would be a perfect fit next to stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis due to his perimeter-oriented playstyle and off-ball game.

Of course, there is no guarantee that the Los Angeles Lakers will land Zach LaVine. However, it is clear that they have the ability to submit a good trade offer, and we’ll see what happens in the future.
