Enes Kanter Freedom has been making claims about his well-being and how some people overseas might be trying to hurt him. The former NBA player has been making the rounds around the league but not for his performances on the court, but for the things he has to say about certain governments in the world.

His unfortunate situation with the Turkish government and the president of that nation has made him a wanted person in the Euro-Asian country. In recent days, Kanter announced the Turkish government put a $500K bounty on his head, and he was in constant contact with security agencies to stay protected.

It seems like this isn’t the only thing he has to be careful with, as Kanter has also received death threats from other people. This must be a terrible situation to be in, and the player appears to be having a hard time coping with it.

Enes Kanter Freedom Remains Concerned About His Life And Well-being

He recently shared a post on Instagram talking about the threats he’s received recently, showing a screenshot of somebody telling him a serial killer was hired to end Freedom’s life.

These are only a few of hundreds of Death Threats I have received in the last couple of days!

Soon, the whole world is going to understand what kind of monster you are @rterdogan

Stand with me, shoulder to shoulder,

my brothers and sisters.

Let’s call out this evil man @rterdogan and his goons, and beat this terrorist mentality together, regardless where it is.

This is definitely something terrifying, especially knowing how powerful governments can be. Freedom remains safe in America while trying to get a solution for this situation, which looks worse by the day.

Besides Turkey, he’s criticized other governments, especially China. Before exiting the NBA, he made big comments about the Asian giants, which certainly didn’t sit well with many people around the association.
