But a few years down the line, the Los Angeles Clippers, with their duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, are yet to make a huge impact on the team. Sure, the Clippers have destroyed the Lakers during their regular season matchups, but come playoff time, the Clippers are yet to even make the NBA Finals since pairing up Leonard and George.
The Lakers, on the other hand, traded for Anthony Davis in order to create a superstar duo with AD and LeBron James. The gamble helped the Purple and Gold in winning the 2020 NBA Championship,
Kawhi Leonard And Paul George Have Failed To Impress NBA Fans
After winning the 2020 NBA Champions, the Lakers have struggled to get back into that form. As a result, they have become an easy target for the media to troll. But their noisy neighbors, the Clippers, aren’t doing that well either.

They just can’t stay healthy. They don’t play enough to be a contender. Until they can stay healthy for a majority of a season and all of the playoffs they won’t be able to compete for a ring

Since the pairing up of Kawhi and PG13, the expectations have always been sky-high from the Clippers. But so far, they are yet to fulfill those expectations.
