A lot went wrong for Kyrie Irving at the start of the season, but the Nets guard seems to have put all that behind him now. Kyrie has stayed out of trouble and is doing what he does best, playing basketball at a supremely high level.

In this 8-game winning run for the Nets, in which he has featured 6 times, Kyrie is averaging 29.7 PPG, 6.7 RPG, and 5.2 APG while shooting 51.2% from the field. He is doing all this without a shoe deal, of course, with Nike cutting ties with him, but it appears that won’t be the case for much longer.

“Kyrie Irving’s agent & managers have met with designer of the Black owned shoe company Sia Collective discussing a potential partnership after Irving’s departure from Nike.”

Kyrie has always been someone who wants to help his community, so it isn’t surprising to see him entertain this possibility. Sia Collective does have some competition on their hands, though, as Puma and Adidas have reportedly contacted Irving about a potential sneaker deal. A star like Kyrie was never going to go too long without a deal, and you’d expect some concrete news on this front in the near future.

Will This Finally Be The Season When Kyrie Irving And The Nets Get Over The Line?

While Kyrie and Kevin Durant have dazzled fans with some exceptional performances ever since they arrived in Brooklyn, you would have to say that they have failed to deliver in the grand scheme of things. The Nets are yet to make a Conference Finals since the duo arrived, but there is hope that they can finally get it done this time around.

They are the hottest team in the NBA at the moment and recently crushed Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks in impressive fashion. They are playing a lot better, especially on the defensive end, under new head coach Jacque Vaughn and look like a serious threat to the Bucks as well as the Boston Celtics, who had swept them in the playoffs last season. With Irving set to become a free agent next season, this might be the last time we see this group together, so they need to make it count.

Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
