Many players have flaunted their talents in the history of the NBA. But not every player who has suited up for a team in the league has been able to leave a mark on fans. Even the players that have managed to do so, playing in the league for 20 seasons and still being one of the best players out there, is something that we haven’t seen.

Well, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has certainly broken all barriers regarding being a great player, even after spending 20 seasons in the league. James’ longevity is something that has been considered one of his top skills. And even in his 20th NBA season, James has carried that and has established himself as one of the best players in the league.

LeBron James Is A One Of A Kind Player

Although playing 20 seasons in the biggest basketball league in the world is a difficult task, there are players who have accomplished this feat before LeBron James. But the biggest difference between James and them has been how effective the Lakers star is even in the 20th NBA season of his career.

To understand that better, we can take a look at the scoring average of other NBA players in their 20th NBA season. James’ production simply stands out among his competition.

1. LeBron James – 27.0 PPG
2. Kobe Bryant – 17.6 PPG
3. Dirk Nowitzki – 12.0 PPG
4. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar – 10.1 PPG
5. Kevin Garnett – 6.9 PPG
6. Vince Carter – 5.4 PPG
7. Jamal Crawford – 5.0 PPG
8. Robert Parish – 3.9 PPG
9. Kevin Wills – 3.0 PPG

Looking at the list of the players who have managed to play at least 20 NBA seasons in the league, it’s already a pretty short list. But even among them, LeBron James is undoubtedly by far averaging the most PPG that we have seen in the history of the NBA.
