The NBA world’s biggest question is probably the GOAT debate. With Michael Jordan receiving a lot of love as the greatest ever, most fans don’t even think twice about who belongs in the top spot. But the noises about LeBron James continue to grow as the King shows every year that he is capable of doing things fans have never seen before.

The big battle has now become about longevity and stats as well, LeBron James is well on his way to becoming the highest scorer in NBA history. And fans and analysts alike have their takes on him being greater than Michael Jordan. But the debate is a never-ending one, and a lot of celebrities are also often asked about it, including Tiger Woods.

Woods has answered the question about the two a few times, and he has given good answers too. But this time, when he was asked, he just gave a cheeky and hilarious answer.

Interviewer: “LeBron or MJ? So Tiger, what’s your answer? Pass?”

Tiger Woods: “Lakers.”

The question is clearly one that Woods is tired of answering, so it’s no surprise to hear him give an answer like this. The golf legend gave an answer that most would not be surprised by, considering that the question is one that is hard to give a proper answer to. But Woods has broken it down in the past.

Tiger Woods’ Brilliant Answer To The GOAT Debate

The wonderful thing about this debate is that there is so much to appreciate about both Michael Jordan and LeBron James. Both have changed the NBA with the way they played and conducted themselves. And when Woods gave a more serious answer to the question, he acknowledged that both of them have things that make them amazing.

“They’re both great in different ways. If you look at MJ, he was a prolific scorer and played defense like no other, always first-team all-defense, but LeBron is different. He’s like a hybrid of MJ and Magic (Johnson), which is so different because he’s bringing the ball up a lot. MJ never really did that. I mean, he had Pip (Scottie Pippen) as a point forward a lot of times, and you would think that’s kind of LeBron-ish, but they’re very different in how they help both teams.”

LeBron James’ versatility and longevity make him unlikely to any other player to ever play the game. But when it came to sheer mental domination and winning, Michael Jordan is the man. The right answer to the question comparing them is probably that fans should learn to enjoy the merits of both and the memories they have each given.
