Luka Doncic is one of the top superstars in the NBA, and there’s no doubt that he has all the makings of a future great. He is already a top-10 player in the league despite only being 23.

There are many people who are high on Luka Doncic’s potential. Goran Dragic has recently claimed that Luka Doncic may have a chance to become the GOAT in the future, suggesting that “he could be the best ever”.

“He is only 23 years old and he is playing like a veteran. He could score even 40 points in every game,” added Dragic.

“He plays the game at his rhythm, he is very big, he can shoot, he can pass, he can rebound. I don’t know what else we can say about Luka, he is like… an astronaut,” Dragic described Doncic’s game.

“I think he could be [the best player in history]. He is still very young, but if he stays healthy and plays a long more time, I think that by the end of his career he could be the best ever,” added Dragic.

There is no doubt that Luka Doncic could become the face of the league in a few years. He has the talent to do so, and now all that needs to happen is for him to win an MVP award or a championship.

Luka Doncic Blames Himself For Slovenia’s Loss To Poland

This summer, Luka Doncic partook in the EuroBasket tournament with the Slovenian national basketball team. He has averaged 26.0 PPG, 7.7 RPG, and 6.6 APG for the team.

Most recently, Slovenia ended up losing to Poland, with the final score being 90-87 in Poland’s favor. Luka Doncic had a poor shooting night, only putting up 14 points on 5-15 shooting from the field.

After the game, Luka Doncic took accountability for the team’s loss. He admitted that he “played terribly” and that he “let the whole country” down. Luka Doncic didn’t have the best game, and hopefully, he ends up bouncing back and winning another EuroBasket with Slovenia in the future.

“I played terribly. I let my team down. I let the whole country that was supporting us down. That’s on me, and I gotta look back at this game and be better.”

There’s no doubt that Luka Doncic will learn from this heartbreaking loss and do better in the future. We have seen many greats suffer losses such as this and come back stronger.

As Slovenia has now been eliminated from the EuroBasket tournament, Luka Doncic will likely turn his attention to helping the Dallas Mavericks have a successful season. Hopefully, he has a productive year, and perhaps we’ll even see him make the NBA Finals in the future.
