The Los Angeles Lakers seem all set to make a comeback next season. They had a very underwhelming 2021-22 NBA season where they couldn’t even qualify for the playoffs. It was a disappointing time for fans of the Lakers as they expected quality basketball from the iconic franchise.
But what has happened cannot be changed. So the focus of the Purple and Gold ahead of the 2022-23 NBA season is to create a roster that can compete for the NBA Championship.
In their quest to achieve the goal, the Lakers traded for Patrick Beverley. Now, Pat Bev is not a superstar by any means, but he can be a valuable addition to the roster. He is a menace on the defensive end of the court.
In addition to that, Beverley is also a supreme entertainer, and he proved that recently when he joked about how he felt about playing with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Beverley talked about how it’s an opportunity for AD and James to be sharing the court with him instead of the other way around. The reason behind that is the fact that Beverley made the playoffs last season, but the same cannot be said for the dynamic duo of the Lakers.

While some fans found this interview of Beverley hilarious as he didn’t lie. On the other hand, some called him out for having too much overconfidence.
