Players in the NBA are often known for their insane basketball skills and their incredible competitiveness with one another. While the players often put on their best performances on the court, many players do end up giving us some hilarious moments of laughter for fans to cherish.

Be it a hilarious possession where no one is able to score, or hilarious interview clippings from players, some of these videos often end up going viral within the NBA community. Recently a hilarious video of former No. 1 pick of the 2013 draft Anthony Bennett has resurfaced. Shooting a promotional video for the Brooklyn Nets, Bennett was asked to say the line,

“Come, Watch us play this season.”

But the forward somehow couldn’t say these lines, rather he said the opposite.

“I am Anthony Bennett of the Brooklyn Nets. Don’t watch us play this season.”

This was certainly one of the most hilarious moments for NBA fans and rightly was featured in the iconic Shaqtin’ A Fool show. While Bennett might have laughed a lot during the shooting of the commercial, his NBA career wasn’t as happy.

Hopes were pretty high from Bennett as he was the No. 1 pick in the 2013 draft. From the start, though, something seemed a bit off about the 6’8″ forward. Suffering from niggling injuries initially, Bennett did not impress in his debut. While some claimed it was the nerves, others already started raising concerns about the power forward’s game. After a dismal first season, the former No. 1 pick was sent to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

While a change of scenery might have a positive impact on many players, it certainly didn’t, as he continued to disappoint. It was pretty apparent at this point that Bennett was a bust and, to this date; he is regarded as the biggest bust in NBA history.
