The GOAT debate remains a recurrent topic in the NBA, as many fans, analysts and players keep giving their two pennies on this discussion. Michael Jordan and LeBron James are the two most common players in this debate, and everybody picks one of them depending on their preferences.

However, there’s no doubt that the vast majority of players think His Airness is the GOAT and have made that clear more than once. LeBron still has his fanbase, but even those close to the King tend to side with Jordan, like Dwyane Wade and, more recently, Los Angeles Lakers owner.

Jeanie Buss was invited to talk about Jordan for an NBA 2K23 promo. In case you don’t know, the new installment of the video game will feature a Jordan Challenge full of some of the most memorable times in Jordan’s basketball career. Buss has short but big participation in the 2-minute video, saying a strong one-liner.

“Michael Jordan is the greatest of all-time.”

Buss is the owner of one of the greatest franchises in NBA history, she has seen some of the most legendary players in the league taking the court, like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James. If somebody knows about greatness, that Jeanie, and she didn’t hesitate to call Jordan the GOAT.

Outside the Boston Celtics legends, Michael Jordan and Tim Duncan, the Lakers have boasted the greatest players of all time on their roster. Nevertheless, Buss picks His Airness as the best to ever do it.

Perhaps she’ll change his mind if LeBron James adds one or two more titles to the franchise, which is still trying to surpass the Boston Celtics on the all-time list. If that happens and he breaks one more record, there wouldn’t be too many people who think Michael Jordan is the undisputed GOAT.
