Miles Bridges is facing many issues right now after he was arrested a couple of weeks ago. The Charlotte Hornets forward allegedly beat up his wife, Mychelle Johnson, who took to social media to expose Bridges and tell her side of the story. In recent hours, we learned that Miles pleaded not guilty to three felony domestic violence charges, but this is only the start of this situation.

Bridges, who recently received an extension offer from the Hornets, is set to start his legal battle next month, in a process that could send him to prison for a long time. According to Steve Reed of AP, the part-time rapper is facing up to 11 years and 8 months in prison if found guilty of these charges.

According to the LA District Attorney’s office, Miles Bridges faces up to 11 years, and 8 months in prison if convicted of the current domestic violence charges against him.

This is not a good position to be in for Bridges, who has been involved in a series of controversies recently. This is another one and the most serious of all. The player could see his career and life ruined by this, but we have to wait and see how the whole situation develops.

Bridges was followed by a series of teams besides the Hornets, and some said he was about to leave Charlotte if they didn’t extend a good offer. Well, now this doesn’t rely on him alone. As reported earlier, a date for a preliminary hearing will be scheduled next August 19.
