The online battle between the Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies isn’t over yet, as they keep trading jabs on social media after one of the most intense series in the 2022 NBA playoffs. Even though they clashed in the second round of the postseason, the Grizzlies were arguably the hardest rivals the Warriors faced on their way to the championship, and it’s pretty obvious that they want revenge next season.
Ja Morant praised Stephen Curry right after the Warriors won the 2022 NBA championship, even labeling him a top-5 player of all time. But, the energy shifted when Klay Thompson took a shot at Morant’s teammate Jaren Jackson Jr.
The young point guard fired back, saying that JJJ lives rent-free in Thompson’s mind with a short phrase.
“got a lot of real estate,” Morant tweeted.
Of course, this wouldn’t be the end of this situation, and Draymond Green decided to send a message to Ja. Green has been very active on Twitter, teasing everybody who dared to doubt the Warriors before they won the 2022 championship. Morant wasn’t the exception and Green reminded him that the Dubs are champions now after trading Ja’s real estate for one higher in Boston.
We traded that real estate in @JaMorant the property value was higher in Boston https://t.co/X7Du6zSiZF

“We traded that real estate in @JaMorant the property value was higher in Boston,” Green stated.
Things are pretty intense between these two teams, and it seems like a rivalry is brewing between the young Grizzlies and the experienced Warriors. Seeing their current cores, there’s no doubt we’ll see them going at it in the postseason in the future.
They could easily battle it out for supremacy in the Western Conference, and we’re all-in to see that. The Dubs aren’t afraid of anything, and the Grizzlies are the same. These two squads could have memorable duels that will probably transcend the court.
