Klay Thompson closed out his magical come back to the court with the NBA championship. After missing the last two seasons due to two heartbreaking injuries, the Golden State Warriors star returned ready to go back to the top, which he did. The Dubs secured their fourth title in seven years and the seventh in franchise history after beating the Boston Celtics 4-2 in the Finals.

It was quite a journey for Klay, who went through a lot to be here, but in the end, things fell into place for the Splash Brother. Following Game 6, with the Warriors winning the title once again, he reflected on the time he was off the court recovering his injuries, admitting it was very hard for him to see the action from the sidelines.

“Well, I had to have my big bro talk me off. I couldn’t move, I couldn’t drive, I was immobilized and I love to be mobile and he would just tell me patience, patience, patience, it’s gonna all payoff.”

“Shout out to Steph. There were some dark days There were dark days, there were a lot of tears shed on the bench. Steph talked me right, Draymond, Andre. I’m just thankful to be here. Holy cannoli this is crazy!”

After the Dubs left the court and went to the locker room, Klay popped up on Instagram, as he used to do during his days of inactivity. While holding the Larry O’Brien trophy, Klay sang his version of 21 Savage’s hit ‘Bank Account’, changing the ‘M’s’ of the original song for ‘rings’.

“I got 1, 2, 3, 4 rings in my bank account, b***h”, Thompson said while laughing.

The Dubs are living great times right now. After being out of the playoffs for the last two seasons, they bounced back this year, played hard, eliminated big rivals in the process and reached the Finals, where an inspired Celtics team tried to ruin their goals.

Well, that didn’t happen. Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole and Klay did the work and secured another title. They don’t have 1, 2, or 3, they have 4 rings now.
