Al Horford’s Sister Anna Horford Goes On A ‘Salty’ Rant After The Celtics Lose 2022 NBA Finals: “Congrats To The B***h A** Warriors.”

3 Min Read

The Boston Celtics didn’t start the 2021-22 NBA season in the way that fans would have hoped. But despite that shaky start, the Celtics finished the season on a strong note.

They booked a spot in the playoffs and from then on never looked back. Defeating the likes of the Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee Bucks, and Miami Heat in amazing fashion. Since they played so well in the playoffs, most believed they could give the Golden State Warriors a run for the money in the 2022 NBA Finals.

For what it’s worth, they did play decently in the first three games of the series and ended up taking a 2-1 lead in the series. Unfortunately, that was the peak of their performance in the NBA Finals, and from Game 4 onwards, it was the Warriors who commanded the series with ease.

It’s no surprise they ended up being crowned as the champions of the NBA behind a sensational NBA Finals series by Stephen Curry. While most are happy to see the Dubs win the series, the same cannot be said for Celtics fans.

Losing the series has left them a bit salty, some more than others. After losing Game 6 of the series, Al-Horford’s sister Anna Horford didn’t hold back when expressing her anger about his brother ending up on the losing side.

“Congrats to the b***h a** Warriors. Yes, I’m salty. Yes, it was a s****y loss. Love our guys & love how far we came. Sad for my brother who played an amazing game. Go Cs.”

“Said what I said & I’m not reading the replies. Stay salty (like me)”

Although Anna mentioned in the second tweet that she will not be reading any replies to her tweet, it didn’t stop fans from trolling here.

Despite ending up on the losing side, Al Horford certainly had a good series. In a team that featured Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart, Al was arguably their best player in the series.

But it doesn’t matter now as the Celtics have already lost the series. Hopefully, next season they can come back strong and win an NBA Championship. All the best to the Celtics.
