Tracy McGrady Roasted A Fan Who Said He Doesn’t Have The Skills Anymore: “I Don’t Play No More. But Tracy Would Still Whoop Your Ass, Though.”

Tracy McGrady was one of the best players in the NBA during the early and mid-2000s. T-Mac was a scoring machine who could put the ball in the hoop from anywhere on the court as he led the league in scoring twice and he ended his career as a 7-time All-Star.

Such was McGrady’s prowess on the court, that Kobe Bryant once acknowledged that McGrady was the toughest player he’d ever played against and that is saying something considering the guys he went up against during his 20-year career.

McGrady is long retired now though, which prompted one fan at the One Basketball League to say that he is no longer T-Mac and that he is just Tracy now, as his skills are long gone. McGrady roasted the fan in return and told him he’d whoop his ass on the court.

He probably would do that with relative ease too, despite not playing professional basketball since 2013. These guys who take shots at these ex-pros need to realize they don’t stand a chance if they ever had to go up against them on the court.

McGrady for all his greatness on the court during his career was still criticized for not having success in the playoffs. He only ever managed to get out of the first round once, and that was as a bench player for the San Antonio Spurs in his last year in the league.

Despite that lack of playoff success, McGrady had plenty of spectacular moments in his career, with his 13-point explosion in 35 seconds to beat the Spurs in 2004 standing out as arguably his greatest moment. As a great scorer himself, he also had some big praise for Jayson Tatum as he said the Celtics star can be as good as Kevin Durant. The Celtics will be hoping that Tatum can replicate some of Durant’s epic performances in the Finals in Game 6 as they look to stave off elimination.

His passion for the sport was ignited after witnessing the high-octane offense of the Steve Nash-led Phoenix Suns. Among the Suns, Shawn Marion stood out to Gautam as an all-time underrated NBA player. Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
