Jayson Tatum has led the Boston Celtics to a win against the Golden State Warriors in Game 3. The team won convincingly at home due to his leadership and on-court play, and as of right now, they are firmly in command of the series.

Magic Johnson lauded Jayson Tatum for his performance. He pointed out that Jayson Tatum scored 27 points, but also “made everyone on the Celtics better” with his playmaking, tallying 9 assists on the night.

Superstar Jayson Tatum scored 27 points, but that doesn’t tell his impact on the game tonight. He made everyone on the Celtics better with 9 assists, many of which added to Marcus Smart’s 24 points, and he helped the role players play to their potential.

Superstar Jayson Tatum scored 27 points, but that doesn’t tell his impact on the game tonight. He made everyone on the Celtics better with 9 assists, many of which added to Marcus Smart’s 24 points, and he helped the role players play to their potential.

There’s no doubt that Jayson Tatum’s playmaking has been integral to the Boston Celtics. Jayson Tatum took a massive jump in that department this season and has even admitted that his improvement in playmaking helped him make the first All-NBA team this season.

We won more games than last year, but I think playmaking, just being able to read the game a lot better slowed it down for me in a lot of ways and I think it’s shown.

If the Boston Celtics win Game 4 at home, they will have a 3-1 lead on the Golden State Warriors. That would be an advantageous position for them to be in, though obviously, the Warriors could still come back from that deficit. They have done it once before, during the 2016 Western Conference Finals.

It remains to be seen who will come out on top in this series. The Golden State Warriors could still win it, even though the current situation favors the Boston Celtics. We’ll have to wait and see the outcome, but there’s no doubt that this Finals series has been wildly entertaining.
