Stephen Curry is one of the greatest players in history, and the best shooter to ever play the game of basketball. Like every superstar, Stephen Curry is extremely difficult to stop when he’s going.

Teammate Draymond Green was recently asked to comment on Stephen Curry’s evolution throughout his career. Green claimed that when that earlier in his career Stephen Curry didn’t really “understand how good” he was, but has since felt as though “he’s unstoppable”:

“If I had to put a year on it like 2017, 2018, he really starts to understand, ‘Wow, I am that good. I am that guy.’ And in 2020, it’s like, ‘Okay, now I’m unstoppable.’”

“Early on when we first started doing this, it’s like, ‘Man, this dude is so good. He don’t even really understand how good he is,’” the Warriors veteran told Malika Andrews of ESPN. “And you start to watch it and start to see the confidence grow. And then you see the shimmy. And you should see the evolution. If I had to put a year on it like 2017, 2018, he really starts to understand, ‘Wow, I am that good. I am that guy.’ And in 2020, it’s like, ‘Okay, now I’m unstoppable.’ … He truly feels like he’s unstoppable.”

There’s no doubt that Stephen Curry’s range and offensive ability often force teams to put multiple defenders on him. He is just as dangerous when he doesn’t have the ball, as his ability to move off the ball is the best in the league currently.

Stephen Curry is one of the only players that have managed to average 25 PPG, 5 RPG, and 5 APG in the Finals, and the Golden State Warriors will hope he delivers more of that against the Boston Celtics. There’s no doubt that even without a Finals MVP, Stephen Curry has been a big performer on the biggest stage.

The Golden State Warriors have a real chance to win a fourth championship this year, and there’s no doubt they have the talent to win it all. The Boston Celtics will be tough to beat, and this series may well go the full 7 games.
