Bill Russell Sends A Message To Celtics Players Ahead Of Game 7 vs. Bucks: “Let’s Get Home And Close It Out!! That’s What We Do.”

The Boston Celtics will have the chance to finish their second-round series against the Milwaukee Bucks at home, hoping to stop Giannis Antetokounmpo and co. to advance to their second Eastern Conference finals in the past three years. After Jayson Tatum’s incredible 46-PT explosion in Game 6 at Milwaukee, the Celtics are confident that the young player can take them to the next round of the postseason with yet another impressive performance at TD Garden.

Everybody is trying to pump up the Celtics now that they have a big chance to eliminate the defending NBA champions. Even the greatest Celtic of all time sent a message to Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, and co., reminding them that Games 7 are the team’s specialty and they can’t miss this huge chance.

Bill Russell took to Twitter to motivate the young players, stating that the Celtics don’t miss their chances when it comes to Games 7:

“Good game @celtics Now let’s get home and CLOSE IT OUT!! That’s what we do.” The legendary center tweeted.

It’s not like they needed extra motivation, but here’s Russell coming with more for them. The C’s have suffered big losses during the series, but they also have won big games, including the one that forced this win-or-go-home duel we’re about to see.

The Bucks travel to Boston without Khris Middleton, hoping to see another incredible performance by Giannis Antetokounmpo that lifts them over the Celtics. The supporting cast should show up if they want to advance to the next round, and the Celtics will try to prevent that.

We’re set to watch an incredible match between the Celtics and Bucks for the right to face the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference finals. The Celtics have won the most Games 7 in NBA history, and that’s something the Bucks can’t ignore.
