Giannis Antetokounmpo is considered the best basketball player in the world right now by many people, picking things right where he left them last season and taking his game to the next level, once again becoming a regular-season MVP candidate with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Greek Freak isn’t slowing down and is playing even better in the postseason, dominating the surprising Chicago Bulls that couldn’t make a big impact in their first playoff since 2017.

Giannis got to work and took care of business, averaging 28.6 points, 13.4 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game, while shooting 56.8% from the field. The Bucks completed a gentleman sweep and everybody was in awe of the 2x MVP, including Charles Barkley, who compared the 27-year-old to one of the greatest players of all time, Tim Duncan.

It wasn’t even because of their game, but their personalities. Chuck said that Giannis is as humble and quiet as the Big Fundamental, which is something not many superstars in the league have.

“Other than Tim Duncan, he is the most humble, quiet superstar that I’ve ever been around. There’s no drama, he just a great person and a great player. He just comes to work and want to play basketball and you’ve got to admire that.”

The Milwaukee Bucks are playing at a high level right now. They just dealt with the Chicago Bulls and are set to clash with the Boston Celtics in one of the best series the second round can offer us. Giannis has repeatedly shown his humbleness, especially when he talked about the past and the future and what that means for him.

He’s one of the coolest guys out there, which makes him so likable. Before Game 5, he stacked Oreos in jars, once again showing that he’s a simple man with simple needs.
