Jordan Poole has recently led the Golden State Warriors to a win against the Denver Nuggets. The young shooting guard put up 30 points in his playoff debut, on 5-7 shooting from beyond the arc.
Over the course of the season, Jordan Poole established himself as a go-to offensive option next to Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. He has averaged a solid 18.5 PPG, 3.4 RPG, and 4.0 APG over the course of the regular season.
After his recent performance, Klay Thompsons praised Jordan Poole, claiming that it wouldn’t “make sense” if Jordan Poole didn’t get the Most Improved Player award. Thompson also added that Poole is a “star in the making”. Jordan Poole was in the G-League last season, so for him to become a key part of a contending squad is nothing short of impressive.

If he doesn’t get Most Improved Player, it doesn’t make sense… What a star in the making.
There is no doubt that Jordan Poole has been impressive this season. He is a three-level scorer with a smooth handle, and he will definitely help the Golden State Warriors in their pursuit of an NBA championship. Poole is just a part of their success though, and they have a lot of talent on the roster. Their recent win against Denver showed just how dangerous they can be when they are clicking on the offensive end. In fact, some fans have even claimed that they can’t see anyone beating the Golden State Warriors in a 7-game series.
The Golden State Warriors have missed the playoffs for the last two seasons, and it’s good to see them back in the postseason. Hopefully, they can make a deep playoff run, and potentially make it back to the NBA Finals. The Golden State Warriors are officially back to contending, and it’s a wonderful sight to see.
