Phoenix Suns superstar Chris Paul is one of the best players to ever play in the NBA. Many people regard him as the “Point God” of our generation and rightfully so. Despite battling many injuries throughout his career, CP3 has still achieved a lot.

One of the accolades he is yet to get his hands on is the glorious NBA Championship trophy. Although he is towards the end of his career, there is still optimism that he can win a ring before saying farewell to the game. The reason for that? Well, the way the Suns have been playing ever since his arrival is an example of that.

Last season, he helped the Suns make an NBA Finals appearance. Unfortunately, it didn’t end in winning the title. But water under the bridge as the Suns are once again having a sensational season.

Following their one-sided victory against the Los Angeles Clippers, the Suns now have the best record in the NBA. They have registered 30 wins this season while losing just 8 games.

In their most recent victory against the Clippers, Paul was once again in the spotlight. The veteran point guard recorded a sensational triple-double as he added 14 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists. He posted that stat line with just 1 turnover to his name as well. Truly a great performance.

This performance from CP3 earned him a spot in the NBA history books. Paul is now the only NBA player in the history of the league with more than 20K points and 10K assists to his name.

Looking at his performances and importance to the team, there is hardly anyone who will believe that the Suns’ guard will turn 37-years-old this season. While breaking records is not a new thing to Paul, he will still probably prefer to win an NBA title over the records.

To be honest, the way that the Suns are currently playing this season, there are definitely one of the top contenders to feature in the NBA Finals. If that happens, the only question remains, can CP3 and co. finish the job this time around?
