Russell Westbrook is widely regarded to be one of the most fierce competitors to ever step foot on the basketball court. The one-time NBA MVP may not be the most skilled player in the league, but he brings more intensity to his teams than perhaps any other player on a nightly basis throughout the season.
Because of this and his straightforward approach to dealing with the media, Westbrook gets a reputation as being a bit abrasive and a bit of a tough guy. However, he regularly proves that those things don’t really apply to him off the court. In the video, Westbrook can be seen singing and dancing along to the song ‘Best Day of My Life by American Authors as he entertains his children, Noah, Skye and Jordyn, who are all aged 4 and under. Noah was born in 2017 and is Westbrook’s first child, while his sisters Skye and Jordyn are twins who were born in 2018.
The Los Angeles Lakers star often posts photos of his family on Instagram, he is clearly someone that is very invested in his home life. With the demands of the NBA and being a household name likely taking a lot of time out of his schedule, it’s impressive to see Westbrook still manage to spend time with his lovely family.
As he has grown older, Westbrook seems to have matured a lot more, recently addressing his poor form as something that’s part of the game. It would seem that becoming a father and gaining the perspective that brings has helped the Lakers guard in his life on the NBA court as well. Despite his recent struggles, being grounded at home will be an anchor for Westbrook as he aims to help the Los Angeles Lakers climb back up to the top of the Western Conference.
