Stephen Curry Responds To Joel Embiid’s Comments On His 3-PT Record: “I Know Teams Are Coming Out And Making Sure It’s Not Going To Happen Against Them, Especially When It’s 16 Or 10 Or 7.”

Stephen Curry is about to make history with the Golden State Warriors. The point guard is two 3-pointers away from breaking Ray Allen’s career 3-point record, confirming he’s the greatest shooter to ever set foot on an NBA court.

However, the job won’t be easy, as the New York Knicks will try everything to ruin Curry’s plans, which seems very unlikely right now. Everybody who’s faced Curry in the past couple of games has taken this approach with the All-Star.

Nobody wants to be Curry’s victim when he breaks the record, and the Philadelphia 76ers were on a mission on Saturday, not giving Curry space to unleash his power and make them pay.

Following the game, Joel Embiid reacted to his team’s efforts to stop the 2x NBA MVP, claiming he wouldn’t let Curry do his thing in Philly, stating that the city belongs to him and nobody else.

“That was not happening on my court. There’s no way. That was not happening in Philly.”

Curry is well aware of that, as nobody would like to be in the picture when the player breaks the record. Following his game against the Indiana Pacers, The Chef reacted to Embiid’s words, saying that every team is doing the same thing to stop him.

“Yeah, you hear a little bit of everything,” Curry said after Monday’s 102-100 victory at Indiana, via AP. “I saw what Joel (Embiid) said the other day in his postgame. I know teams are coming out and making sure it’s not going to happen against them, especially when it’s 16 or 10 or seven. But I won’t get this again, and once you get over the mountaintop, it’s just how far you can push it.”

“I saw Joel, what he said postgame… I know teams are coming out trying to make sure it doesn’t happen on them.”

Steph is on a mission right now. He’s ready to add another milestone to his incredible career and will probably do it at the iconic Madison Square Garden. It’s been a great journey for Steph, who changed the game of basketball with his long-range shots, and now is ready to make history again.

Even the Knicks fans are coming up with curious ideas trying to stop Steph, but that looks very difficult knowing how close he is to breaking this amazing record.
