James Harden is well known for his incredible plays and talent to get past defenders, crossing over people almost every game, displaying a flashy playstyle with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets, and Philadelphia 76ers.
He’s a terrific offensive player that doesn’t hold back when attacking his rivals, losing them while trying to score. The Beard isn’t a defensive force and he doesn’t try so hard to stop the opposition. When he’s tried hard, Harden was punished, and once, he starred in one of the most famous moments in the Summer Olympics.
Back in 2012, Team USA faced Nigeria in the tournament, and even though they got a huge win, Harden left the court with a big memory. One Nigerian player crossed him over and made him do the splits. This time, Harden was the victim and not the one crossing people over.
It was such a crazy moment that fans recently remembered. Many folks commented on an NBA County post, trying to find an answer to that play while making jokes about the Beard.
Harden needed that strip club therapy after that
Harden got hit in the gems bruh
Damn wtf
and he never played defense ever since
Where that player at now
I bet you Harden makes in one hour more than what that player makes in a year
…and y’all want to put him up there with MJ and Kob. Man…stop!!
What cross, more like a push
That was the beginning of Harden’s origin story .
and he hasn’t played defense ever since
And thats the first time his “hamstring hurt”
Never seen this one before
Look more like a push, that don’t account for his defense
I saw this live it a was a beautiful moment
Hamstring ain’t been the same ever since
Last time he played D
Hit that Michael Jackson split right quick
Where’s that player at now I’m so curious
Harden ain’t guarded nobody since lol
That player grew up to be Michael Jordan
That was a huge play by the Nigerian player, and even though Harden must have forgotten about it, the rest of the world didn’t. He’s often on the other side of the road and now has improved his defensive level. The Philadelphia 76ers superstar has lived a lot since that moment and now is playing at Wells Fargo Center, trying to win his first NBA championship alongside Joel Embiid. It’s unclear where that Nigerian player is right now, but he starred in one of the most famous highlights in Olympic Games history.
