Rudy Gobert and his actions during a press conference have affected the player, his teammates and even the league. The Frenchman tested positive for COVID-19 days after he touched all the mics and recorders from journalists during a press conference, which led the NBA to suspend the season.

Donovan Mitchell also tested positive for the coronavirus, but this is not the only case linked to Gobert. We’ve learned an elementary school student who received an autograph from the NBA star has tested positive for the COVID-19, too.

It’s unclear if this has something to do with Gobert, but given the latest developments, this doesn’t look so good for the 2x NBA Defensive Player of the Year.
Gobert has already apologized for his actions with an Instagram post, but given the chain of events he unleashed, the situation gets worse for the center every day.
