Τhe NBA is postponing its season for at least one month. And while nobody is doubting that it was the right move, its impact is far-reaching and very problematic for some.
For the hundreds of people who work in NBA arenas (concession workers, operations crew, etc.) they find themselves out of a job for at least a month, probably more.
Fortunately, a few players have stepped up to offer support, including Zion Williamson, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Blake Griffin.
It’s bigger than basketball! And during this tough time I want to help the people that make my life, my family’s lives and my teammates lives easier. Me and my family pledge to donate $100,000 to the Fiserv Forum staff. We can get through this together! 🙏🏽

It’s an awesome gesture by the players and really shows how awesome the community can be when we band together. Here’s to hoping things return to normal soon.
