The trade deadline finally struck and it left us some unexpected and shocking moves. Even though it was rumored that Andre Drummond was going to be one of the players to be shipped before the deadline, nobody thought that his next destination would be none other than the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Drummond wasn’t happy with the decision and he took to Twitter to show his disagreement, claiming that “there’s no friends or loyalty” in the NBA.

If there’s one thing I learned about the NBA, there’s no friends or loyalty. I’ve given my heart and soul to the Pistons , and to be have this happen with no heads up makes me realize even more that this is just a business! I love you Detroit…

“If there’s one thing I learned about the NBA, there’s no friends or loyalty. I’ve given my heart and soul to the Pistons , and to be have this happen with no heads up makes me realize even more that this is just a business! I love you Detroit…

“…you will always have a special place in my heart! But on to the next. Cavs, hope your ready! Let’s finish the year off the right way,” he published in a series of tweets.

The big man was drafted by Detroit back in 2012 and played his entire career in Detroit. In eight seasons, he averaged 14.4 points, 13.9 rebounds and 1.7 blocks, making two All-Star games.
