Vanity Fair’s annual post-Oscars party is always packed with celebrities and the 2024 edition was no different. Stars from various walks of life were present, with some Los Angeles Lakers players making their way to party as well. Anthony Davis was one of them and he was accompanied by his wife, Marlen Polanco Davis, who looked stunning.

Both husband and wife chose to wear black for the party held at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on March 10, 2024, in Beverly Hills, California. Marlen certainly made an impression with just how amazing she looked here.

It is not often that she makes a public appearance, as Marlen seems to be a rather private person, which is rather uncommon in today’s day and age. As a result of that, not much is known about her personal life.

All we know is that she and Davis have been together since at least 2017 and got married on September 18, 2021. They have three children together, with the eldest being a girl named Nala who was born on November 1, 2017. The couple welcomed two sons after that, but haven’t shared much information about them.

Anthony Davis Revealed How His Wife Supported Him When He Was In The Bubble

While Marlen shies away from the spotlight, she has been Davis’ biggest supporter behind the scenes. During an appearance on The Backyard Podcast, the Lakers star revealed how she helped him elevate his game when he was in the Bubble.

“I was going through some personal s*** and I was about to come home,” Davis said. “And my wife’s like, ‘Nah, I got it. This is your opportunity to go do something that you always wanted to do.’ Her birthday, we in the Bubble, all the s***, so she was like, ‘Go get that s*** done.'”

Davis hilariously said he had to win the title after she said that and well, the Lakers did go on to win. It’s crazy to think how things would have changed had Davis decided he had to leave the Bubble.

Marlen ensured it wouldn’t come to that and you admire how she supported him during a difficult period. She put his mind at ease, which in turn helped him dominate on the court.

Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
