Reaves sat down with NBA insider Shams Charania to discuss his upcoming signature sneaker, the “AR1”, which will come under the Rigorer brand. This is a big business move and the player reportedly signed a seven-figure deal with the Asian company.
“If you would have told me I’d have had a signature shoe at 18, I’d have looked at you and called you a liar,” the 25-year-old guard told Charania.
“Honestly, I’m blessed to play basketball for a living and I just have to pinch myself sometimes to really understand what’s going on.”

Sneaker specialist Nick DePaula shared images of the upcoming release, which will be in Lakers colors in August.
Reaves’ career hasn’t been the easiest one, as he had to prove his value to be where he is right now. After a rookie season full of ups and downs, he improved his level this campaign and helped the Los Angeles Lakers make it to the playoffs and go to the Western Conference Finals.
