Ben Simmons found himself in a bad position while streaming a Call of Duty match. While waiting for a match to start, the Philadelphia 76ers start to read some comments, including one that could get him in trouble with the NBA.
At some point, Simmons said:
“I wish Book would come to Philly,” before clarifying he was reading his feed, not stating it was his personal desire to team up with Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker.

Still, if you were Simmons, you’d like to share touches with Booker, one of the most gifted scorers in the league right now, but given the tampering rules, players aren’t allowed to make such comments on rival players.
The Australian point guard repeated several times he was only reading the feed, as he knows that could be problematic for him. Simmons and the Sixers could use Booker, who can bring a lot of things to the table, especially from deep, the weakest point in Philly’s offense.
This year, Philadelphia was struggling to find a good pace, sparking rumors about a potential breakup between Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. It’s incredibly hard for them to make that happen, but in the case they land a third star in Devin Booker or even trade one of Embiid or Simmons to Arizona, Philly’s game can improve a lot.
