Breaking: Mike Conley Will Miss Game 5 vs. the Clippers

1 Min Read

Mike Conley and the Utah Jazz have received bad news. The veteran point guard won’t play tonight when his team takes on the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 5 of their Western Conference semifinals.

Conley joins a list of players that have struggled with injuries this postseason, including Chris Paul, Kawhi Leonard (who is out indefinitely), James Harden, Kyrie Irving, and more. The former Memphis Grizzly is ready to compete for the championship this season. Still, the job won’t be easy, especially with him out of the court.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Conley won’t participate in tonight’s game when the Jazz face the Clippers at the Vivint Arena. He’s dealing with a hamstring injury and will miss the game that can give his team a crucial lead.

The good news for the Jazz is that Conley could eventually return to action, but it’s unclear when that will happen.

This day has been full of news for the NBA community. Some worse than others, but still bad news for the fans.
