Breaking: Nick Nurse Wins 2020 Coach Of The Year Award

1 Min Read

Great news for the Toronto Raptors and their coach, Nick Nurse, who has been named as the 2020 Coach of the Year award recipient. Nurse faced a big challenge this season following the departure of Kawhi Leonard, who led the team to their first-ever NBA championship last year, and Danny Green, another good contributor for that title.

Everybody thought Nurse was going to struggle this year, but he demonstrated he’s one of the best coaches in the league, even after losing a big star. Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that Nurse has been named the NBA 2019-2020 Coach of the Year.

The 53-year-old took the Raptors to register their highest winning percentage in franchise history, went 7-1 in the bubble and just yesterday, they took a 3-0 lead for the first time ever.

Nurse has done an amazing job with this team, which seems to be one of the biggest favorites to come out of the East for the second consecutive year. He has already shocked the world with his team and this is the confirmation that his coaching talents are remarkable.
