Bryn Forbes has been arrested after allegedly assaulting a woman following a heated confrontation. The former San Antonio Spurs and Minnesota Timberwolves player has gotten into trouble with justice after police took him under arrest for starring in a controversial moment.
Forbes, who was cut by the Timberwolves last week, is now involved in a controversy with the law, and things don’t look promising for him. In recent times, players like Miles Bridges and Jaxson Hayes have been involved in similar situations, and even though things ended up working for them somehow, things haven’t been the same.
Now Forbes, a free agent, starred in a questionable situation that doesn’t sound so good for him. The player has jumped between teams since he made it to the league, and after joining Minnesota, the team waived him on February 9.
Bryn Forbes Has Gotten In Trouble With Justice
According to KSAT, the free agent was arrested early in the morning in San Antonio on a misdemeanor family violence charge. Things apparently got out of control for him and a woman, with Forbes repeatedly hitting her.
Forbes, 29, was arrested around 5:15 a.m. at the La Cantera Resort & Spa, in the 16600 block of La Cantera Parkway, on the city’s far Northwest Side.
According to San Antonio police, Forbes assaulted someone he is said to be in a dating relationship with.
A preliminary police report says Forbes was out with the woman when he became upset. That’s when, police say, the pair drove home and upon their arrival got involved in an altercation, which then became physical.
This is a terrible situation for Forbes, and especially for the victim of this event. We hope that it gets fixed the best way for everybody and it doesn’t happen again. If he had a hard time trying to find a new NBA team, it’s pretty clear that this won’t help his case.
