Michael Jordan is still the most revered figure in basketball, despite not playing a game for almost 20 years. MJ’s impact on the sport is unparalleled, and many players who are playing in the NBA today are still benefiting from his incredible stint in the league.

In his post-basketball career, Jordan has been focused almost entirely on the Jordan brand, his own sporting line under Nike’s umbrella. The main focus of his brand is his shoes.

Jordans are some of the most popular and sought-after shoes in the world. Several sneakerheads and fans try with all their strength to get their hands on a pair of Jordans, because of how in-demand they are.

Even NBA players do all that they can to cop a pair of Jordans, with many even signing with Jordan brand as a signature athlete. Players like Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, and Zion Williamson are just some of the many star NBA players who are signed to Jordan brand.

On top of that, Michael Jordan also conducts an annual camp for young basketball players to get some of the best training in the world. Jordan also comes to the camp regularly to interact with the kids and brings some NBA players from his brand to play with them too.

On one occasion, Chris Paul decided to have some fun with Jordan and the attendees of the camp. During a visit, CP3 challenged Michael Jordan to make a series of shots without missing. And if he did miss, all the children at the camp would receive a pair of free Jordan.

In classic Jordan fashion, he accepted the challenge and took it personally. Jordan went on to make each and every shot, leaving every person at the camp disappointed that they wouldn’t get a pair of free Jordans.

Jordan was obviously not trying to disappoint the young fans. But the competitive streak in him would not allow him to lose any kind of challenge.

That mentality Jordan had allowed him to garner the incredible success that he did. His competitiveness is still active to this day, as it led to Jordan revealing that he studied LeBron James and knows what he would do to stop it.
