Chris Paul Was Part Of 3 Of the 21 Single-Season Streaks Of 17+ Wins In NBA History

Chris Paul has been one of the best players in the NBA for almost his entire career. Despite being 36 years of age, Paul has continued to play at the highest level over the years. CP3 is considered one of the best point guards in NBA history, and a true point guard in an era where point guards have become more focused on scoring.

CP3 can be a sparkplug for any team he goes to. And history has shown that he can improve any team he joins, with every franchise drastically improving after the arrival of the Point God. But one recent stat shows just how spectacular CP3’s impact is on a team playing winning basketball with him leading the charge.

The Phoenix Suns extended their winning streak to 17 games, defeating the red-hot Golden State Warriors. The Suns became the 21st team in NBA history to have a 17+ game winning streak over the years. Chris Paul was part of 3 of these teams, pulling this feat off before with the Clippers in 2012 and the Houston Rockets in 2018.

There’s only been 21 single-season streaks of 17+ wins in NBA history.

Chris Paul was on 3 of those teams.

This stat just shows how much of a winner Chris Paul is. His fundamental point guard play and running the offense of a team are crucial to their success while he is there. On top of that, he is also a great defensive player, despite being significantly undersized in the NBA at just 6’1.

Paul’s leadership is heralded in the NBA, with many believing that he is one of the best players in the NBA to lead a team to success. And despite bouncing around the league during his time, he has never underperformed with any of the teams he has been playing with.

The Suns pulled off a fantastic deal to get Paul last year, and it immediately elevated them to a championship contender. After 10 years of missing the playoffs, the Suns were able to reach the NBA Finals for the first time since 1993 with Paul as the coordinator of their offense.

The Suns are once again in the mix for an NBA championship, especially with the way they are playing right now. If Paul can elevate the level of his team once more, they may be able to return to the NBA Finals this year, and possibly even win the NBA championship this time.
