Friday was a good day for Russell Westbrook and James Harden, who led their Houston Rockets to an OT, comeback win over the Dallas Mavericks of Luka Doncic. The Texan duel closed the second day of activity in the Orlando bubble and they did it in a great way, scoring a lot of points, even setting new records.
Houston beat Dallas, 151-146 in overtime, and of course, their dynamic duo played a key role in that result. Harden scored 49 points while Westbrook dropped 31, demonstrating they aren’t in Orlando just to watch other teams succeed. They are on a mission and things look very promising for them.
After that performance, they confirmed they’re one of the best duos at the bubble, contrary to what sports analyst Colin Cowherd expressed in recent days. Cowherd left the Beard and Brodie out of his top 10 duos in the bubble, raising a lot of eyebrows with his omission.
When you see the list, you know that’s messed up. He placed Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Bron of the Celtics and Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets ahead of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton of the Milwaukee Bucks.

To make things worse, he added Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis and Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert instead of Westbrook and Harden. No disrespect to these players, but we’ve seen over and over the things these two bring to the table, and just when everybody believed they were going to stink this season, they have proven that they are pretty good together and their games work just fine.
Fans weren’t happy with Colin’s take and they let him know. Harden and Westbrook are two of the best players in the league right now.
Lowry and Siakam? Harden and Westbrook?

That Jokic and Murray rating is preposterous. Same with Tatum and Walker.

Colin is a joke….there’s only only one team in the NBA who has a duo who each has an MVP. The Houston Rockets. The fact that Harden and Westbrook aren’t on this list is laughable and downright stupid

At this point Westbrook and Harden are use to it so it doesn’t even matter. Durant, Westbrook, and Harden all played together that must be a reason for why they get slandered so much.

Really? Colin Cowherd just lost all his credibility when it comes to his NBA knowledge. It's okay to hate the Houston Rockets, but he doesn't even include James Harden and Russell Westbrook on his top 10 duos. They're top 3! Both have had an exceptional year! MVP caliber players.

Lol the team with two MVPs doesn’t make the Top 10. Alrighty then.

He also overlooked the Toronto Raptors duo of Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam, two of the best players in the league this season, leading their team to compete in the East when not so many people believe they had a chance. Well, the time has proven doubters wrong for the Rockets (especially last night) and the Raptors, who are ready to shock the world once again this season.
