The Patrick Beverley trade to the Los Angeles Lakers was somehow shocking for many fans, but it also opened the door for many to make jokes about Beverley’s beef with Russell Westbrook, his new teammate on the team. Many commented on this, trolling the Lakers for pairing up two players who don’t like each other.

Others predicted how they’ll behave when they’re close or during practices, making other people laugh with the memes. Everybody is talking about this more than the actual trade and the fact that the Lakers traded two young players for a veteran like Beverley.

Well, that won’t stop happening anytime soon, and recently, Complex Sports shared a short video of what could happen with Westbrook and Beverley on the court. A tweet shows old footage of John Wall trying to set up former Washington Wizards center Marcin Gortat, but the pass was too powerful for the big man.

Standing in the way of the basketball, Gortat got hit in the face with it, which sent him to the floor. Imagining Westbrook doing that to Beverley makes everything funnier, but take a look for yourself.

The Los Angeles Lakers have a lot of pressure coming into this season, and many believe that Westbrook is living his last days with the squad. They can pull off a big trade to add depth and shooting to their squad, but that’s still unclear.

Bev seems to be ready to squash the beef according to his recent activity on social media, but it remains to be seen if Westbrook is on the same page, and if he’ll need to end this thing before the Lakers trade him away. The Purple and Gold remain a big topic this offseason, and that won’t stop anytime soon.
