Damian Lillard Says Stephen Curry Is The Greatest Shooter In NBA History

Stephen Curry and Damian Lillard are two of the top shooters in the league. Both can make shots from extraordinary range, and differentiate themselves from other shooters with their high-level accuracy from long-range pull-up jumpers. Stephen Curry, in particular, is considered by many to be the greatest shooter of all-time.

Recently, Damian Lillard was asked by Shaquille O’Neal about how he developed his shooting. Lillard explained his process, while also shouting out Stephen Curry as the greatest of all-time in terms of shooting.

It’s just putting a lot of time into it. Obviously we think of Steph Curry first when he think of shooters. The greatest shooter to ever play in our league. But he’ll tell you the same thing: it’s a lot of reps.

Whether people are watching or whether you get credit for it or not, you put the time in. And you do it at a game pace, you do it with focus, you do it while you’re holding yourself to a certain standard.

While hard work is the key to making it in the NBA, not everyone can emulate the amazing shooting of Damian Lillard. However, all shooters do put in that work on the court, shooting it over and over again to perfect their jumper.
