Los Angeles Lakers head coach Darvin Ham issued a warning to his Denver Nuggets counterpart, Michael Malone.

During an interview on the #thisleague UNCUT podcast with NBA reporters Marc Stein and Chris Haynes, Ham responded to Haynes’s comment about the Nuggets doing a lot of celebrating this postseason with Malone hyping up the 4-0 sweep against the Lakers.

“Oh, wow. You’re gonna bring up Money Mike, man? The Lakers’ daddy? That’s what they call him now? The Lakers’ daddy?” Ham remarked.

“God bless his soul. This s— ain’t over. God bless his soul,” stated Ham.

Ham was brilliant in his first stint as head coach with the Lakers, stressing primarily on their defensive system, which was one of their major strengths this past season. But with Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets proving to be a force, LA were outplayed in their attempts.

On his part, Ham hasn’t forgotten, and we’re pretty sure the next encounter between both these sides will be a cracking one.

Darvin Ham Had An NSFW Message For The 10 Teams That Passed On Him

Despite his coaching talent, multiple teams passed on Darvin Ham when they were looking for a new head coach.

When speaking to NBA Insider Marc Stein, he stated that all 10 teams that passed on him “f***** up”.

“My list featured the Celtics, Hornets, Bulls, Pacers, Timberwolves, Magic, Kings, Wizards, and Clippers.”

‘And Hawks,’ Ham interjected.”

“Then he added in reference to all 10: ‘They f—– up royally.”

Clearly, the Lakers made the right moves, and Ham was one of the better coaches in the fray to help the side get to where they did, given how they started.
