Point guard Stephen Curry is one of the best players in the league and is the face of the Golden State Warriors. He won a title in 2022 at the age of 34, and it is clear that he can still play at an extremely high level.

Stephen Curry’s father, Dell Curry, is highly confident that his son will continue to play at a high level. In fact, he claimed that Curry will continue to be a superstar for “several more years” before any signs of decline start happening.

“I don’t want to put a number on it because I know my son,” Dell said, per Alex Simon of Mercury News. “His determination, his dedication to the sport, and his will to want to be the best in the league every single year is far beyond anything I’ve seen.

“So at 35, to be able to have the year that he did and get stronger when the playoffs came around is impressive. It’s going to be several more years, I think, before you see any kind of fall off.”

It is true that Stephen Curry is one of the most well-conditioned players in the league, and his 3PT shooting ability suggests that he will age more gracefully than other players. This season with the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry put up 29.4 PPG, 6.1 RPG, and 6.3 APG, and if the team finished higher, Curry might have been in the MVP conversation.

Stephen Curry Wants To Run It Back With The Warriors For One More Season

Even though the Golden State Warriors fell short this season, it seems as though Stephen Curry wants to run things back for at least one more year. This makes sense, as the Warriors are definitely a contender from a talent standpoint when healthy.

“I think the most likely scenario is that the Warriors keep most of this together for at least one more season,” The Athletic’s Tim Kawakami wrote. “That’s what Curry wants. His opinion sort of matters.”

With that being said, this may be easier said than done. Draymond Green is a free agent and could end up leaving for another franchise. Hopefully, though, we see the Warriors keep everyone and run it back for at least one more season.
